Labor Day Run
Thanks again Chuck for a wonderful time. We gave you a hard time and you took it well. Sorry Lorie wasn't able to come. I know you missed her as your navigator.
The weather was great on Saturday, Sunday was a little chilly on top of Mt. Hood, 34 degrees, but the rest of the day was nice and Monday was another great day. The wind blew the whole time we were gone and I think we all agree that we prefer the Spokane and Idaho areas.
We headed for the Columbia Gorge and the Maryhill Winery then on to the Museum, Stonehenge and then on to the Cousin's Country Inn.
Sunday morning after a wonderful breakfast we headed up the mountain. It was cold on the mountain, only 34 degrees but it was warmer when we got off the mountain. Then on to Warm Springs for a small detour. Chuck was looking for a new residence and after passing Elk Loop, Deer Loop and other loops, we made a loopty-loop and headed on our way.
Chuck found a Z06 for sale at the dealership next to the hotel, but alas it was not to be so we headed home. We found out that Chuck did have a map and then headed on to the Preston Winery where we were joined by Bill & Katherine.
