Spring Run to Grand Coulee Dam

It was another grand ole Spring Run. 30 cars started the trip and we added 2 more along the way. The day started out a little windy and cool. We made a stop along the way as we usually do. Did some more visiting and then we were on our way again.

The picnic area picked out by Barb & Vinnie was great. Lots of tables, green grass and sunshine. The food was great as so was the companionship. Tasted some great cookies and am looking forward to getting the recipes at the next meeting. It warmed up enough that after lunch tops started coming off. Corvette tops that is!

Then it was off to the Visitors Center where other antics were taking place and then up a great road and on to Elmira. More fun there and then it was on home. We weren't the only ones out that day. We got a fly by from a plane we came across. He even dropped some smoke as he flew over and there was a great older car on the road home. We ran into a little rain but at least it was near the end of our trip.
